SBI Holdings Launches NFT Minted on XRP Ledger
Japan’s SBI Holdings, a Ripple partner, has started minting World Expo 2025 NFTs on the XRP Ledger. Users can download the Myaku-N! digital wallet on iOS and Google to receive the free Expo 2025 NFT minted on the XRP Ledger.
According to the press release, SBI Holdings is sponsoring the “EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet” project at the World Expo 2025 in Japan and announced the EXPO 2025 Digital Wallet NFT service, according to the press release. The NFT is limited to 500 users.
Users can still acquire rare NFTs and mint NFTs, but these are commemorative and cannot be transferred or resold. Cryptocurrency exchange SBI VC Trade and NFT business SBINFT plan to offer the service to the 28.2 million people expected to attend the 2025 World Expo Osaka, Kansai Expo.
NFTs as part of the World Expo will no longer be visible after October 13, 2025. The company will end the service of the digital wallet app after the expo.

World Expo 2025 NFTs
NFTs can be viewed in real-time on the XRPL explorer Bithomp. Users can collect NFTs based on ranks as a reward for the “MyakuMyaku Rewards Program.” Users can earn more with higher NFT statuses, which can be increased by performing actions at the Expo, such as collecting Expo e-currency “Myakupe!”
SBI has announced additional giveaways, lotteries, and prizes, including the “Myakumyakupon!” giveaway campaign. The focus on XRP and NFTs will help increase the reach and adoption of these crypto-related technologies. Curling and SBI Holdings have partnered on a range of solutions including supply chain, new remittance corridors and the MoneyTap mobile payment app.
