Meme cryptocurrencies have been the rock stars of the sector during the last bull cycle, with Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), and several Solana-based tokens seeing substantial gains over the past few months. However, their progress has recently come to a halt due to the ongoing market correction.
One key element that can revive the sector is a Bitcoin recovery. That’s why we decided to probe the AI-powered brain of ChatGPT with an interesting question: “Which meme coin will perform best if BTC hits $100,000?”
The chatbot claimed that such a prediction was based on speculation, but presented DOGE and SHIB as the main contenders. It recalled that the largest meme coins in terms of market capitalization have the strongest community bases and have often followed the increase in BTC price in the past.
ChatGPT also noted that DOGE has reached the top of its realm after support from prominent figures like Elon Muskwhile SHIB has been rapidly expanding its ecosystem in recent times.

What about these lesser-known contenders?
In addition to praising DOGE and SHIB, ChatGPT claimed that some PolitiFi tokens also have a chance to head north if BTC hits a new all-time high. MAGA (TRUMP), Jeo Boden (BODEN), and Kamala Horris (KAMA) were among the tokens represented.
It is worth noting that the aforementioned memes would most likely be affected by the US presidential elections scheduled for November this year. Trump-related assets could increase in case the Republican candidate wins, while BODEN could skyrocket if the current political leader retains his position in the White House.
KAMA has been among the best performers in the market lately, increasing by more than 1,000% on a monthly scale. Its progress has followed rumors that Kamala Harris (vice-president of the United States) could replace Joe Biden in the presidential election, after the latter showed little convincing during the debate against Donald Trump at the end of June.
