Today, despite the weak market performance and growing pessimism in the community, meme cryptocurrencies are showing notable gains. Some meme coins from the top 500 managed to register increases of 50-60% in the last 24 hours.
Meme Coins Erase Losses, BRETT and WIF Lead Mini-Rally
Based Brett (BRETT), the largest cryptocurrency on the Base (BASE) blockchain, surged 25% in the last 24 hours. As a result, it has become the fastest growing cryptocurrency among the top 100 assets by market capitalization.

Dogwifhat (WIF), a dominant meme coin on the Solana (SOL) blockchain, sees its price increase by 19.7%. Its market capitalization targets the level of 2 billion dollars. Pepe (PEPE) has seen similar gains and surpassed the $5.2 billion valuation today.
Bonk (BONK), with its daily price rise of 16.7%, is another premium coin on the list of fastest growing cryptocurrencies, along with Floki (FLOKI), which sits on a valuation of $1.7 billion after a 12.7% price increase.
Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) are up 8.2-8.3%; both assets have consolidated their presence in the top 15 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization.

However, the most impressive rallies were recorded in the cat-themed coin segment. Meme coins such as Popcat (POPCAT), Mog Coin (MOG), and Michi (MICHI) have excited their audiences with impressive gains.
The capitalization of Popcat (POPCAT) targets $500 million after an unprecedented growth of 60% in the last 24 hours. Michi (MICHI) added 75% and almost hit a cap of $100 million.
Mog Coin (MOG), after a 25.1% price rise, entered the top 150 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while the popular Cat in Dog World (MEW) coin is up 15 %.
