In an interview with Benzinga, Bonk Guy offered a rare insight into his strategies and insights into the meme coin market, shedding light on the world of high-risk, high-reward crypto investing.

He quickly noticed a trend with meme coins and was able to predict which ones were likely to explode, allowing him to invest strategically.
The power of community and liquidity
Bonk Guy highlights the crucial role strong community support plays in a coin’s success. “I make sure there is a strong community, because meme coins thrive on a strong community,” he says.
He thrives on projects with “retarded sectarian believers who think their coins are going to tip over.” Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC), reach a market capitalization of $100 billion and cure world hunger,” he says with a hint of amusement.
“The more irrational their passion for their coins, the better,” he adds.
According to Unipcs, this fervent loyalty is crucial in propelling a meme toward significant price increases.
Liquidity is another key factor.
Although meme coins offer explosive growth potential, they require sufficient trading volume to be easily converted into cash.
“Ultimately, for a meme coin to go mainstream, it needs liquidity,” Unipcs explains. “So I also pay attention to volume and CEX quotes over time.”
The Bonk Bet: A Case Study in Meme Coin Mania
Unpics’ significant investment in Bonk, a Solana (CRYPTO: GROUND) based on meme coin, is a great example of his approach.
Although initially skeptical, he was swayed by a combination of factors: the influence of a respected crypto analyst, Bonk’s status as a leading meme coin on Solana, and Solana’s potential for price appreciation.

Trading meme coins is a wild ride, and Unipcs recognizes the emotional toll it can have.
He advocates a “moon or bust” mentality, in which investors write off their holdings and focus solely on hitting their profit target or accepting a total loss.
“Once I buy an asset, I erase it in my mind,” he explains.
“I am neither moved nor disconcerted if the score reaches zero. I just give myself a goal and stick with it until it hits my goal or hits zero. Nothing else matters.”
According to him, this approach allows for a more detached and less stressful trading experience.

Looking ahead: Bonk, Floki and beyond
Bonk Guy remains bullish on Bonk, citing its association with Solana and the potential for future growth.
“I’m obviously very optimistic about Bonk for the reasons I’ve already listed,” he says.
“I’m the ‘bonk guy’ for a reason.”
He also emphasizes Floki (CRYPTO: FLOKI), another meme coin with a solid history as an underrated gem.
“Besides Bonk, I’m really excited about Floki,” he reveals. “This is my biggest bag of memecoins, and I think it’s currently the most underrated major memecoin.
Although Floki launched in 2021, it has outperformed all other major memecoins, including PEPE (CRYPTO: PEPE), Shiba Inu (CRYPTO: SHIB), DOGE, except WIF, this year.
“Yet almost no one talks about it on CT [Crypto Twitter]. I think it’s okay surprise a lot this year“, he predicts.
He also expressed interest in even smaller cap coins like Lmiaou on Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH) And Linda on Linea chain.
For those looking to make substantial profits with meme coins, he advises paying attention to one’s previous strategies and maintaining a strong and patient mindset.
