The official Shiba Inu The account posted a tweet to remind the SHIB Army and the global cryptocurrency community at large that SHIB has long ceased to be simply a meme coin.

To do this, the SHIB team had to make a summary of all the recent achievements made by SHIB and the projects launched on Shibarium.

Here’s why SHIB no longer uses meme coin, by team

The account @Shibtoken shared an image that features a popular meme where several men in suits sit behind each other so that the man in the front looks like he has multiple hands.

His face is hidden behind a SHIB mascot and each of these hands “holds” and shows the public key of the SHIB projects that have already been launched or are being updated by the developers.

These projects presented by the guy with many hands of the meme are the ShibaSwap DEX (its improved version has already been launched), the SHIB metaverse (currently in preparation and not yet released), the Layer-2 Shibarium solution and the NFT game called Shiba Eternity.

The Shiba Inu team first began talking about the meme currency title being irrelevant to SHIB last August, when it became one of the official main sponsors of the annual blockchain event ETHToronto. At the time, Shibarium was introduced to the public and Shytoshi Kusama addressed the crypto community for the first time with a speech, albeit one delivered without her actual presence via an AI application.

This year, SHIB will once again sponsor this important crypto event.

SHIB Team Working on Shiba Eternity Upgrade

As reported by U.Today, earlier this week, Lucie, a senior leader of the SHIB team, shared a teaser of the upcoming Web3 upgrade of the Shiba Eternity NFT card game for smartphones.

This time, the developers have added tournaments. The update will be called “Shibatopia Arena” and it will feature ranked tournaments as well as blockchain-based card battles.

Additionally, this update will transform in-game cards into full-fledged digital assets. Lucie warned that this major transformative upgrade has yet to be released and strongly advised users not to click on any links that claim otherwise to avoid getting scammed and losing crypto.
