Solana (SOL) has become one of the fastest growing blockchains in 2024 as developers take advantage of its fast transaction speeds and lower transaction costs. These tokens have performed well due to the growing demand for assets in the Solana ecosystem. The same thing is happening in other sectors like gaming, liquid staking, tokenization, and decentralized public infrastructure networks (DePIN).
Second, Solana has more powerful features than Ethereum. It can handle thousands of transactions per second while Ethereum can process less than 50. Its transaction processing cost is significantly lower than that of Ethereum. As such, meme coin holders can save money when making transactions.
