DMarket, a collection of in-game items on the Mythos network, topped the CryptoSlam non-fungible token (NFT) sales chart with $857,829 on Thursday, up from $710,928 the previous day.
Following closely, Guild of Guardians Avatars rose to second place on the day’s NFT leaderboard with $825,172 in sales. The collection is linked to Immutable’s online game.
Fantasy Top, the Blast collection that turns Crypto Twitter into an NFT game, ranks third with daily sales of $611,135. Fantasy Top remains in the top three despite falling from $1.04 million the day before to lead the market.
Thursday’s top three collections show the growing appetite for Web3 games.
According to DappRadar, Web3 games attracted almost US$1 billion in investments last month.
Next, Ethereum’s Bored Ape Yacht Club and The Captainz rounded out the top five collections with $602,545 and $531,806 in sales, respectively.
The Ethereum network led all blockchains in sales with $6.2 million on Thursday.
The industry received important news related to the world’s largest NFT network as the US Securities and Exchange Commission approved spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs), paving the way for these financial instruments to be traded on traditional US markets.
Bitcoin, at just under $5 million, was the second blockchain of the day, followed by Solana at $2.34 million.
The Solana blockchain also made headlines with a significant number of transactions, totaling 63,682 on the day, although its sales volume was lower at $2.34 million. This performance highlights the diversity and competitiveness of the NFT market across different blockchains.
