The heroes featured in the network’s trading card game have collectively earned nearly 600 ETH, but not everyone is happy.

Fantasy.Top, the fantasy sports and trading card hybrid built on Ethereum Layer 2 Blast, has just distributed its second round of in-game rewards to creators.

Creators are set to to receive 600 ETH in rewards until May 24th. Creators can now claim their share of ETH royalties, Blast Gold, which is similar to Blast points, and Fantasy Stars, an in-game reward with a currently unknown use case.

Creators of the Fantasy.Top ecosystem, known as heroes, earn royalties and other in-game rewards based on their cards’ performance and trading volume.

The first round of creator royalties were distributed on May 6th, and a window was opened from May 21st to May 23rd for Heroes to claim their rewards.

Fantasy.Top founder Travis Bickle said “We want to combine network claiming with an option for heroes to share their rewards granularly with cardholders” in an interview.

Heroes are entitled to a 1.5% fee from the trading volume on their card and a 10% share of the mint’s total revenue. Total trading fees have been volatile but have declined by more than 50% between May 13th and 19th. Mint rates have declined drastically since Fantasy.Top’s inaugural week, seeing a drop of over 90% since May 7th. If these trends continue, hero royalty accrual should also slow down.

Fantasy.Top is currently one of the 15 best Revenue-generating dApps in DeFi in the last 30 days. The protocol accumulated US$12.2 million in fees and revenue since its launch on May 1, solidifying it as the highest-earning native Blast dApp right now.

Despite earning ETH royalties, Blast Gold, and in-game rewards, some creators have expressed concerns about the lack of clarity in both the scoring algorithm and rewards. distributions.

Well-known investor Gmoney he said “My unsolicited advice to @fantasy_top_ is to make the score calculation public so people can base decisions on who gets what…”

Bickle responded with a quote Tweet starting May 17th, where it said “we will likely release more information about how the score is calculated” once they define their preferred scoring models.
