CryptoPunks and BAYC lead daily NFT sales and put Ethereum on top
CryptoPunks topped the daily sales chart with $1.7 million, up from $130,640 the previous day.
Ethereum-based CryptoPunks were one of two non-fungible token (NFT) collections with more than $1 million in sales on Tuesday in just 14 transactions, according to data from CryptoSlam.
CryptoPunks’ historical sales volume increased to $2.82 billion, third in historical NFT sales.
The second best performer of the day was another Ethereum collection, Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), which recorded $1.05 million in sales.
BAYC $350,481 from the previous day, with unique buyers growing to 17 and sellers to 27, culminating in 19 total transactions. BAYC’s historical sales are now $3.14 billion, second in historical sales.
BAYC and CryptoPunks led the Ethereum network’s daily sales of $7.7 million, the highest volume among NFT blockchains.
DMarket fell to third place in daily sales after roof the stops on Tuesday. Its sales reached US$839,582, a drop of less than one percent compared to before.
Other notable collections include Mad Lads and NodeMonkes, which also had substantial daily sales. Mad Lads recorded a daily sales volume of $800,761, an increase from $543,026 the previous day. Bitcoin-based NodeMonkes followed closely with $750,024 in daily sales, up from $672,684 the previous day.
Ethereum’s Solana Monkey Business and Pudgy Penguins also made headlines with their daily sales numbers.
Solana Monkey Business recorded sales of $656,402, while Pudgy Penguins recorded $595,679, both collections showing a slight decline from the previous day’s performance.
New entries into the day’s top 10 include the $PMPS BRC-20 NFTs collection, which climbed into the top 10 with $551,476 in sales, exploding more than 500% from the previous day.
DeGods and DogeZuki Collection rounded out the list with sales of $411,440 and $380,574, respectively.
