This sudden deletion of content sparked concerns that he was once again engaging in dubious activities.

Zackxbt pointed this out Mayweather he had previously earned “tens of millions” in various cryptocurrency ventures, including Mayweverse, Ethereum Max, Bored Bunny, Real Floyd NFT, and Moonshot.

In 2022, the The SEC charged Mayweather with failure to disclose payments to promote three ICOs, including a $100,000 payment from Centra Tech. They claimed that he would use his Twitter platform to encourage his followers to participate in the Centra ICO, stating that it would start soon and that they should purchase the tokens before they ran out.

In 2018, Mayweather had to do it pay fines of more than $600,000 for illegally advertising coin offerings.
