Celebrity coins ridiculed by a famous NFT artist
Andrew Tate, Iggy Azalea and their Solana-based meme coins have once again found themselves at the center of attention in the crypto community.
Beeple, a renowned digital artist in the crypto field, has revealed his latest artwork, “Mother and Daddy (2024).” This digital piece is a modern reimagining of Grant Wood’s iconic “American Gothic,” featuring rapper Iggy Azalea and influencer Andrew Tate.
The release of this artwork comes amid a wave of celebrity meme coin launches, including the Tate-inspired meme coin Daddy Tate (DADDY) and Azalea’s Mother Iggy meme coin (MOTHER).

Beeple rose to fame after breaking a record by selling his NFT artwork for a whopping $69 million during the 2021 NFT hype. During this time, celebrities have actively supported countless NFT projects, including the Most, however, did not survive the massive market crash that followed.
Beeple’s new NFT presents a satirical take on celebrity crypto influencers, referencing this era. According to the artist, the involvement of celebrities in the same corners illustrates how digital finance transcends borders, promoting economic instability and risks for many.

Australian rapper and entrepreneur Iggy Azalea has received a lot of attention in the crypto world recently. At the beginning of June, it launched its own token, MOTHER, which skyrocketed almost 2,000% in just two days.
Azalea then clashed with Ethereum’s Vitalik Buterin, who critical celebrity-endorsed digital assets focused on direct monetization without any added value.

Andrew Tate took a chance on the MOTHER hype with his response to Azalea’s meme corner. He announced a million dollar investment in Solana meme coins.
I heard about a coin called mother, so now I’m supporting a coin called $PAPA to turn it around for the patriarchy.
Let’s bring back the G’s, make me a fucking female sandwich.
Then I set all my daddy on fire because I don’t want money, I just want chaos.
Top G.
