Bitfinex announces the listing of Turbo (TURBO), an Ethereum-based memecoin created with ChatGPT, with trading expected to begin on August 1, 2024.
Bitfinex, a leading digital asset trading platform, announced the listing of Turbo (TURBO), an Ethereum-based memecoin created with the help of ChatGPT, according to blog.bitfinex.com.
Presentation of TURBO
Launched in 2023 by digital artist Rhett Mankind, TURBO was developed using the OpenAI chatbot ChatGPT with the goal of creating “the next big meme currency on a budget of just $69.” While TURBO has no specific utility or purpose, it features zero transaction fees, a community-driven model, and a smart contract that has been disclaimed by its creator.

Deposits for TURBO are expected to open at approximately 10:00 UTC on July 30, 2024, subject to network conditions. Trading is expected to begin at approximately 10:00 UTC on August 1, 2024, subject to liquidity requirements. TURBO will be tradable for U.S. dollars (TURBO/USD) and Tether tokens (TURBO/USDt).
