Bitcoin NFTs continue to dominate the market with a 74% increase in sales
Bitcoin opened the week as the top blockchain for non-fungible tokens (NFT) on Monday, with sales soaring 74% in the last 24 hours.
The blockchain recorded $21.11 million in sales, a substantial increase from Sunday’s $12.13 million, according to data from CryptoSlam.
The number of transactions also increased by 17%, from 5,773 to 6,759 transactions.
Monday’s sales volume saw a decline of approximately $1 million compared to Friday.
Just like on Friday, Ethereum and Solana ranked second and third, respectively, in the last 24 hours.
Ethereum experienced a sales drop of 21% with a total sales volume of $12.41 million.
Solana had a 32% increase in sales, with a total sales volume of US$10 million.
Solana has been the big story in the industry in recent days, with the network’s native cryptocurrency overtaking BNB on Monday to become the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
