Bitcoin Nears $64,000, Altcoins See Mixed Action
Cryptocurrency prices continued to spark investor speculation today, depicting a mixed set of price actions. Bitcoin (BTC) price depicted a turbulent move near the $64,000 level. Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) and XRP experienced a trading session in the red zone. However, Solana (SOL) managed to trade in the green territory today, although it encountered significant volatility.
The global cryptocurrency market capitalization saw a decline of 1.36% to $2.34 trillion. Additionally, the total market volume over the past day saw a decline of 9.68% to $69.69 billion.

Bitcoin Price
BTC price settled at $64,029.70 today, down 1.22% over the last 24 hours. The coin’s 24-hour low and high were $63,237.75 and $65,104.66, respectively.
Bitcoin dominance edged up 0.01% to 53.85% today, suggesting a downward movement within the altcoin sector. On the other hand, Bitcoin ETFs saw $84.7 million in inflows, excluding Ark Invest’s ARKB, according to data from Soso Value.
Ethereum Price
The ETH price chart showed a slight decline of 0.22% at press time to $3,416.99. Ethereum’s 24-hour lows and highs were recorded at $3,372.33 and $3,489.67, respectively.

Solana Price
SOL price saw a 1.09% increase to $160.69, defying the overall market trend. Nevertheless, its 24-hour lows and highs were measured at $155.57 and $161.59, highlighting a rollercoaster price trajectory for the coin.
Furthermore, it should be noted that Solana Hitting the $160 mark also risks triggering $3 billion in liquidations.
XRP Price
The price of XRP has dropped by 8.08% and is currently at $0.5588. Despite the token’s blockchain, XRPL (XRP Ledger), which witnessed an 80% increase in transactions due to micropayments, the token saw a significant drop today.
DOGE & SHIB Price
Dogecoin (DOGE) has seen a 2.32% drop and is currently trading at $0.1206. Shiba Inu (SHIB) has seen a 7.13% drop to $0.00001755.

Nevertheless, the hourly cryptocurrency price charts offered a sense of relief to market participants today. BTC gained 0.76% and ETH posted a 0.58% increase, while altcoins mostly followed suit.
