Despite broader market weakness, Litecoin (LTC) is attempting to break out higher.

LTC was last trading in the $88s, above its 21DMA. If it can sustain above its 21DMA, it would be one of the only major cryptos trading above this key short-term moving average.

At current levels, LTC is up over 25% compared to previous monthly lows.

According to CoinMarketCap, its 5% gain over the past 24 hours makes it one of the top gainers in crypto today.

Litecoin bulls are hoping that this latest push higher marks the start of a new challenge to the highs of its multi-year range.

Litecoin has been stuck in a range of $60-$115 since the start of 2023.

Neo (NEO)

Neo (NEO), the cryptocurrency of the new smart contract blockchain NEO, is performing well on Friday.

According to CoinMarketCap, the price of NEO rose by 5% in the last 24 hours to $20 per token.

The rally brought its market cap to around $1.3 billion, leaving NEO still more than 7 times below its 2021 highs and 10 times below its early 2018 highs.

Price history suggests that NEO generally displays exponential gains from its current moderate levels.

Ethereum Classic (ETC)

Ethereum Classic (ETC), the unforced version of the original Ethereum blockchain, attempts to push higher on Friday.

It was last up 4% in 24 hoursaccording to CoinMarketCap, and is trading at nearly $28.

Ethereum Classic is a highly speculative game. It doesn’t even have a fraction of the adoption of its sister chain Ethereum – according to DeFi, Ethereum has a TVL of $133 billion. Ethereum Classic has barely $500,000.

But ETC has generated as much as $175 in 2021, a 6.5x increase from current levels.

As hype and FOMO in the market builds and investors become more irrational, ETC could reclaim these spikes, making it a good candidate for the best crypto to buy now.
