Former Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann could launch an Invincibles cryptocurrency or non-fungible tokens (NFTs) after securing the brand’s trademark before its 20th anniversary.
Mail Sport revealed on Thursday that Lehmann, an ever-present in the Invincibles squad in 2003-04, had secured the rights to the brand in 2022 after completing an application in late 2020.
This means that the German has the legal right to stop any other brand calling itself “The Invincibles” – including his former employers. Arsenal they did not move to challenge the mark.
“I came up with the idea because the name Invincibles becomes increasingly popular as the 20th anniversary approaches,” he told Mail Sport.
‘And no one had. Arsenal were probably a little surprised that no one thought of registering the trademark. At least they know it is now being controlled.

And former Chelsea captain Terry saw the value of the ‘Ape Kids Football Club’ NFTs he launched drop by 99 percent in five months.
The Blues icon had been advertising the NFTs he owns, with drawings of baby monkeys, on his Twitter page.
In an NFT owned by the former England captain, a blue monkey – wearing a captain’s armband as Terry did 580 times for Chelsea – is surrounded by various trophies.
