Alien cats lead NFT sales with $1.32 million in one day
Polygon-based Alien Cats took the non-fungible token (NFT) market by storm on Monday, with a sales performance of $1.32 million, according to data from CryptoSlam.
The newly released NFT sold for $30,000 apiece but had only 11 unique sellers and buyers each.
The second best-performing collection of the day was π, a BRC-20 NFT collection, with a total sales volume of $1.12 million, up from $418,754 the previous day.
In third place in daily sales was the DMarket collection, specialized in virtual game items and NFTs on the Mythos network.
DMarket reached a total sales volume of $579,888 on Monday across 25,480 transactions.
Other notable collections include NodeMonkes and DogeZuki Collection, which came in fourth and fifth place respectively. NodeMonkes saw a daily sales volume of $471,749 from 46 transactions, while DogeZuki Collection amassed $443,920 from an impressive 10,429 transactions.
Both collections demonstrated significant engagement from their communities, with NodeMonkes maintaining a high average price of $10,255 per NFT and the DogeZuki Collection showing its mass-market appeal with a lower average price of $42.57.
